yes, you are correct. it was a day of evil where i yelled at everyone and everything (including sia videos), and i have to apologize to trees lounge. man, my mood swings are worse than most women i know. i should seek therapy.

Actually I've noticed he frequently has tracks about a state that I would have never realized. Maybe Maryland wasn't an example of that.

maybe i'm blind to the art of this or whatever, but that sia video just gives me a big headache.

the trees lounge 50 state project seems crazy. i guess it sorta follows the sufjan project, but it seems to me that the blogger who thought of it wasn't exactly sure what he was getting himself into. getting the best songs from a state involves searching through a prolific amount of history, geography, and everything else related to that state (with many songs having no mention of the state in them). to do that for one state would kill me, let alone all of them. it seems that he too realized this, which is why all the songs have the state name (or major city name) in their title... which makes for an easier search but a lesser quality of music. not that i'm dissing the guy, since it's still cool that he's doing even this much, but i'm guessing that this kind of search skips on the best songs. i have a feeling he would gladly back out of this idea, but you music blog guys are crazy and stick to your word at all times.
