thanks kane. i forgot a major favorite of mine and have to add it.

"oh yoshimi, they don't believe me, but you won't let those evil robots eat me."
-flaming lips

that quote helps me survive the laziest of days. if yoshimi survived the robots, i can survive even something as horific as work

hmm. my lyrics do have a theme of traveling, escaping, exc. this could have something to do with me living with my mom and wanting to go somewhere where there are women other than my mom. i also just want to travel all over in general. it's the goal of my life i'd say. but, for my sake, let's leave the psychoanalysis of this sort of thing for another day.

i like your lyrics too. they have a feel of an easy going/laid back person. i guess we are our favorite lyrics. it's pretty cool to think about it. nice idea for a forum.

Impressive Tom, good picks, too. I was thinking about including "Wraith Pinned To The Mist" but it slipped my mind.

I feel like there's a slight theme or trend to these examples... lots of roads.. journeys... obstacles.

At the same time mine all have something of a recreational tone perhaps? or maybe just about enjoying yourself.
