Summer Camp Artist Update #2

Summer Camp Skyscraper

The entire Summer Camp Festival site got a facelift yesterday, and those who plan to be in attendance got a treat as well, some new artists:

Galactic
The Wood Brothers
Hot Buttered Rum
Melissa Ferrick
Animal Liberation Orchestra (ALO)
Great American Taxi
Vince Herman
Brother’s Past

Toubab Krewe
Pnuma Trio
Bump

Any thoughts on the new additions? I’m very excited about the return of ALO. Galactic should be a good dance party. But, most importantly, Vince Herman, 2006 Summer Camp MC and 2006 10KLF badass, is returning, not only by himself apparently, but with his *amazing* band, Great American Taxi. These guys are a must-see, hands down.

I must say I am also excited about the return of ALO. Enjoyed the show very much last year. And of course, your right once again Kane, Galactic should be a GREAT dance party, but can’t forget Pnuma Trio!!!!! Any word on Family Groove, or Zilla, or RAQ? Was not sure if you mentioned them already if they are going to be there. Let me know if you hear anything.

P.S. We really should look into finding a camper this year for certain reasons. John and I thought of an awesome idea that would eliminate too much walking, allow for comfortable accomidations and multiple sites, and an overall upgrade from years past like we have been gradually doing every year since John and I started going to this crazy event! Give me a call sometime. We’ll talk.

No words on FGC, Zilla, or RAQ, to my knowledge. Honestly the only one I would expect to see is FGC, they have great relations with JayTV I believe. The camper idea isn’t bad. If I go I almost might get a hotel on like Saturday night and camp the rest of ‘em. Would be nice to have a bed, shower, right before Sunday’s finale. We’ll figure it all out soon enough, more important to me right now is what I’m doing for work this summer…

a hotel for a night seems like a refreshing idea. somewhat makes me feel like it takes the fun out of the dirty hippie side of things, but we have been there and done that all too often anyways. keep up on the artists updates, and your personal plans. peace bro!
