Somewhere in the hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving week I completely forgot that Phish: The Biography was released last Tuesday (Nov. 24th). I just received my copy in the mail and have had a chance to thumb through it, and thought in light of Phish’s amazing thanksgiving weekend, I should post a reminder to order a copy if you didn’t pre-order it.
So far I’ve only had a chance to sneak a peak at the last chapter “Reunion: 2008-2009″ and it doesn’t have many juicy details that die-hard fans didn’t already know, but I imagine there’s a lot more to be found in the chapters concerning “Growing Pains: 1997-2000″ and “Hiatus, Resumption, and Breakup: 2001-2007.”
Anyone who’s had a chance to read it, what did you think?

Just noticed this review from Amazon, seems to be my inital impressions of the book after thumbing through it:
* * * * 4.0 out of 5 stars “Pretty Good,” November 16, 2009

“Certainly not an earth shattering tell-all book, but an interesting read that does bring some insight on the dynamics that lead to the bands breakup in 2004. If you are a hardcore fan, you will not likely learn much you don’t already know, but will appreciate some of the commentary from the likes of Tom Marshall, Amy Skelton, Paluska, etc. “
