Burning Oak™ was started in December 2005 by myself, Kane Jamison, as a way to share music I enjoy, news, and whatever else I deem fit. I’m currently a student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign College of Business, studying Finance, and you can typically find me romping about Chambana and going to concerts, as well as bartending at Barfly in downtown Champaign.

If you’d like your band’s album or music reviewed or just want to get the word out, feel free to get ahold of me, I’m always looking for new stuff. Also if I do request a copy of an album or EP, it’s only because I’ve enjoyed your available tracks or past music quite a bit, and I do maintain a policy of posting on all promotional material of which I personally request.
